Manager – Energy, International Tax (Open to flexible working)

We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our international tax services team, recognised as leaders in international tax advisory and cross‑border M&A. You will advise large corporations on their international tax planning and M&A deals within our International Tax and Transactions (ITTS) Practice focusing on the Energy sector. The Energy transition drives activity in traditional sectors (oil & gas) and low‑carbon renewables, requiring substantial investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful delivery of international tax services engagements, committing to a professional, practical, and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing high levels of client service.
  • Spot opportunities and involve colleagues to continuously develop our commercial proposition.
  • Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contributing to new client acquisition.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Background in corporate tax with demonstrable advisory experience.
  • Qualifications: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA (or equivalent knowledge of CTA).
  • Strong technical skills and a keen interest in further development.

Ideal Additional Experience

  • Experience working on International Tax projects.
  • Project management skills, ability to plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines, and monitor own budget.
