Overview

This role is a key member of the wellbeing service at MKUH Cancer Centre, supporting patients under the Neurology cancer service shared with Oxford University Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wellbeing cancer CNS support and holistic care to patients and families.
  • Operate and manage the neurology cancer CNS workload.
  • Support group and individual activities for patient and family care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Drive change to ensure the cancer service remains safe and effective.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and continuously improve patient, family and carer experiences.
  • Actively engage across the specialty as a highly visible presence.
