Your Role

As a Cloud Economics/Finops Consultant at Capgemini Invent, you will join our Cloud Advisory capability within the Business Technology unit. The Cloud Advisory team inspires, leads, and supports organisations on their cloud journeys, helping them create new business and revenue models, generate growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Cost Optimisation Analysis: Review and analyse cloud usage patterns to identify cost‑saving opportunities, guide users on optimisation methods, and enforce budget‑aligned policies for financial accountability.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed financial reports, including forecasting, and present findings to senior client management and application teams to highlight cloud spend and trajectory.
  • Policy and Governance: Establish and maintain cloud governance policies, guardrails, and best practices to assure cost control.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide FinOps best‑practice training and mechanisms to promote a culture of accountability and cost awareness.
  • Vendor Engagement: Engage and manage relationships with cloud vendors.
