The appointment is for a 1‑year locum role on a 6.75‑session basis, offering an opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary department and contribute to the care of patients with epilepsy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialist epilepsy care with a focus on safe prescribing of antiseizure medications and pathway development.
• Providing 3.5 clinics per week, comprising a specialist epilepsy clinic twice a week, a fortnightly clinic, and a weekly clinic for patients on valproate.
• Conducting pre‑surgical assessment and collaborating closely with epilepsy specialist nurses, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuropsychiatrists.
• Developing protocols for seamless patient care and maintaining close links with all team members.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, postgraduate teaching, clinical audit, and research activities.
• Demonstrating clinical leadership and effective teamwork across the department.

The post offers a salary of £109,725 to £145,478 per annum, plus London weighting and on‑call Cat B 1 %.
