A Snapshot of Your Day: Join us as a Technical Sales Manager in the UK and take the lead in driving the sales of industrial steam turbines and generator sets. You will be responsible for securing supply contracts while managing projects from pre-acquisition to handover to the execution team. Imagine contributing to Siemens Energy’s market share growth in this vital business segment while engaging directly with customers and guiding your team to success. Your expertise will help fulfill customer demands and reduce dependency on factories, making a significant impact in the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will profitably sell industrial steam turbines and generators throughout the UK, ensuring compliance with existing LOA guidelines.
  • Lead the development and management of projects, from initial activities to handover, enhancing customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Engage directly with customers, managing proposals and obtaining necessary management approvals throughout the bidding phase.
  • Collaborate as a technical expert to meet customer demands and support the ISP Growth Initiatives, including FPSO and Waste-to-Energy projects.
  • You will maintain accurate data in Sales Force and ensure all processes, such as LOA approvals, are followed according to defined guidelines.

What You Bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in the power generation business, including commercial, project management, and contract negotiations.
  • Proven ability to guide team members and coordinate regional activities, with a focus on achieving high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of economic, market, and industry trends to drive sustainable growth.
  • Experience working in multinational and multicultural teams, with regional experience being a strong asset.
