Job Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Senior Engineer to work for a FMCG manufacturing company. The role involves managing a team of 8 engineers on shift, overseeing hands‑on maintenance and operation of machinery in an automated factory and focusing on training and development of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8 engineers on shift.
• Oversee and perform hands‑on maintenance and operating of machinery.
• Ensure pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
• Drive training and development initiatives for engineers.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience managing a team of engineers.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong training and development skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
