Working hours
Monday to Friday – Variable (40 hours per week) 11am or 12pm start time with a finish time of 7pm or 8pm.

About the role
- Take control of freight movement within the section.
- Ensure the next day freight is handled accordingly.
- Report any issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure the quality of load and transhipment of freight through the hub to its destination, whether to place into a bay location or to place on to a waiting vehicle or standing trailer.
- Perform routine pre‑inspections to ensure equipment is suitable for use.
- Report non‑compliance, accidents, near misses, abuse, intimidation, etc.
- Provide information and communicate with customer vehicle drivers when the need arises.
- Compile reports for damaged product/poorly presented vehicle, site damage and equipment damage.
- Carry out any other duties as and when required.
- Manage your team.
- Make an effective contribution to the business.
- Contribute to the provision of customer service.
- Maintain Health and Safety in Operations.
- Operate equipment to perform work requirements.
