- Lead virtual and matrix‑managed teams to deliver complex improvement projects.
- Role model the behaviours and values of a continuous improvement culture.
- Identify gaps in skills and develop plans to address them.
- Share expertise and knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Co‑design transformative and complex change and improvement initiatives across teams and functions.
- Take a systems‑based approach to improvement interventions and use a rigorous, evidence‑based process.
- Provide stakeholders with expert advice on strategy and techniques for sustainable improvement.
- Design and deliver training and engagement events.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within and beyond the Continuous Improvement Community of Practice.
- Act as an escalation point for blockers, barriers, risk and issues.
- Develop innovative approaches to improve the way the team works.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional project management experience, delivering business change projects in a professional, project‑delivery environment.
- Proven ability to deliver outputs that achieve required benefits.
- Experience writing compelling and comprehensive business cases.
- Capability to work with uncertainty, find innovative solutions and manage project finances and communications.
- Strong engagement, communication and influencing skills; a demonstrated ability to lead and gain credibility with cross‑functional teams.
- Qualifications in Prince2 or Agile are highly desirable.
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent Continuous Improvement) qualification.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, actively encouraging consideration of diversity issues in work.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to be a continuous improvement professional and part of a wider team leading on transformation. Your role will involve steering projects from conception to delivery, ensuring high standards, and driving measurable improvements for people and the environment.
