Pay & Working Hours:

  • 4-day working week – 39 hours
  • Monday – Wednesday: 16:00 – 02:00
  • Thursday: 15:00 – 00:00
  • £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Free onsite parking

Job Overview:

Our client based in Atherstone is seeking an experienced Heidenhain CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their late shift milling team. You will be setting, operating, and programming universal bed-type milling machines using Heidenhain controls, working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron. This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established engineering business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
  • Online programming using Heidenhain controls
  • Working with universal milling heads
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Machining components to tight tolerances
  • Completing your own quality inspections
  • Safe use of overhead cranes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
  • Experience with Heidenhain control systems
  • Background machining medium to large fabrications and castings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
