Cloud AI API Integrations – Fully Remote Subject Matter Expert

We are inviting software developers, system administrators, and other technical professionals who work with AI models via cloud platforms to participate in an upcoming research project. We want to learn about your real-world experience integrating AI APIs into applications and workflows.

This project is open to a broad range of practitioners, including:

  • Developers and system administrators integrating Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI (GPT models) and Google Gemini via Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, or Microsoft Azure AI
  • Developers and system administrators working with other leading AI APIs via cloud platforms or direct API access

What You’ll Bring

  • Active experience as a software developer or system administrator working with AI APIs in a professional context
  • Hands-on integration of AI models via cloud platforms (e.g. Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Microsoft Azure AI) or direct API access
  • Practical knowledge of embedding AI capabilities (such as Claude, GPT, or Gemini models) into applications or automated workflows
  • Comfort discussing technical implementation details, challenges, and decisions in your day-to-day work

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Complete a paid screener to help us assess your background and suitability for specific research tasks
  • Participate in AI-moderated interviews via Listen Labs (primary research method)
  • Complete qualitative surveys via Qualtrics
  • In some cases, take part in live interviews with the research team

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with multiple AI providers or models in the same workflow or organisation
  • Experience with RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks
  • Involvement in evaluating or selecting AI platforms for enterprise use
