Job Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fiduciary Credit Control team at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich.

This is a hybrid role that requires 100% office‑based during the training period, transitioning to at least three days a week in the office thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Collect funds from clients within our busy Fiduciary Accounting department.
  • Build and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use MS Excel and manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • Perform credit control activities verbally and in written formats.
  • Manage ledgers and investigate unmatched cash issues or financial exposures.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work out different tax and commission rates.

Requirements

  • Good level of education with strengths in numerical and potentially accounting related subjects.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional numeracy skills with demonstrable experience of working with figures.
  • High level of accuracy and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage differing demands.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service to external and internal clients.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

What makes you stand out

  • Previous credit control or accounting experience within a similar (ideally insurance related) role.
  • Proven track record in handling and resolving complex customer queries in a financial environment.
