Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as the primary finance partner to the CEO and leadership team.
- Support financial planning and strategic decision‑making.
- Provide commercial insight on performance, pricing and growth initiatives.
Financial Operations & Control
- Own and manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including month‑end close and core processes.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Reporting & Insight
- Deliver board‑level reporting with clear insight and commentary.
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Support statutory reporting requirements and external advisors.
Cashflow & Forecasting
- Build and maintain cashflow forecasts and liquidity planning.
- Provide forward‑looking insight to support decision‑making.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
- Drive improvements in systems, processes and reporting capability.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in a high‑growth, scaling or entrepreneurial environment.
- Comfortable operating in a standalone or small‑team finance role.
- Experience delivering board‑level reporting and working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Proactive, hands‑on and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.
