Senior Accountant (Financial Systems)

Location: Waverley Court

Hours: 36 per week

Salary: £56,392 – £67,457

The City of Edinburgh Council is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage, develop and maintain the Council's core financial management systems, Oracle eBusiness Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Financial Systems team to manage and maintain Purchasing Systems and their administration.
  • Contribute to the delivery of excellent client services, staff development and continuous service improvement.
  • Support development and ongoing annual upgrades of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Build effective relationships and collaborate with team members, service managers and external agencies.
  • Provide expert professional financial advice ensuring high standards of client service, professional practice and financial governance.
