Overview

Rygor Group is looking for an organised and detail‑focused Credit Controller to join our Finance team. The role is central to ensuring effective cash flow, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the business through robust credit control practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts and credit limits in line with company policy.
  • Monitor, review and actively pursue aged debt.
  • Proactively contact customers to secure payment and resolve queries.
  • Allocate incoming cash accurately and perform regular account reconciliations.
  • Prioritise high‑risk and overdue debts to minimise exposure.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve billing or account discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

  • Exceptional attention to detail; accuracy is non‑negotiable.

  • Collaborative and confident communicator across teams and levels.
  • Experience managing customer accounts, aged debt and collections; knowledge of cash allocation and account reconciliation; strong understanding of credit control processes and accounts receivable.
  • Confident and professional communicator when dealing with customers regarding payments.
  • Discreet and professional – maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
  • Growth mindset – actively seek ways to improve processes and contribute beyond core responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong understanding of credit control and accounts receivable.
  • High level of accuracy when reviewing financial information.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to balance priorities in a busy environment.
