HW Finance are pleased to be partnering with a fast-growing and acquisitive financial services business, to support them with the hire of a new Financial Controller, as a result of internal promotion.
About the role:
This is a varied and hands-on role, preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts for the UK and European group, assisting with integrations, supporting process improvements, and managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts for all UK and EU entities
- Manage company bank accounts and oversee supplier payment runs
- Assist with integration of new entities and wider finance-related projects
- Ensure robust financial controls and reconciliations are maintained
- Support process improvements and implement new processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee and manage two Finance Assistants
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong financial reporting/management accounting or audit background
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Services sector experience (desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Used to supporting more junior team members
- Professional and positive approach
