A new working challenge and career development opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join our teams working within the specialist areas of Endocrinology and Medical Bone. The specialties are relatively niche; we would welcome interest from registered nurses from both primary and secondary care settings. Experience of these specialties is not a prerequisite but an appreciation of out‑patient long‑term condition management is desirable.

What Could Your Day Look Like?
- Direct clinical activity engaging with patients and carers mainly with an out‑patient setting using the hybrid models of face‑to‑face consultations and telephone consultations.
- Indirect clinical activity participating in investigation organisation and reporting, Fracture Liaison Service provision, virtual reviews, communication with the MDT and primary care.
- Preserved time for both personal learning and development and service development.
How Would We Support You?
- An intense induction period will be provided to support you develop knowledge of both specialty areas and the systems of work and processes currently in use to deliver safe and effective care.
- Support to develop the key skills and attributes of the Clinical Nurse Specialist Pathway.
- Once established we would look to support you undertake the Non‑Medical Prescribing and Clinical Assessment Modules to formally move you towards autonomous practice.
Hours of work: Mon to Fri, 30 to 36 hours to be negotiated.
