Overview

This role is part of the new Best Start Family Hub Programme. The practitioner will develop across the life of the programme, shaping the universal offer and integrating services to give all children the best start in life.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, families, and partners.
  • Deliver activities and interventions across the Best Start Family Hub Network.
  • Provide direct support to help children, young people, and families through the family support offer.
  • Work across the five Family Hubs: Brierley Hill, Dudley, Coseley, Halesowen, and Stourbridge.
  • Collaborate with integrated partners and local communities to achieve best outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, motivated practitioner with experience in family and child support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse groups.
  • Experience or willingness to perform a substantive Family Support Worker role.

Work arrangement

Working in the office 3+ days a week (pro‑rata) or full‑time on site.
