Post 1: Senior Clinical Fellow in General Medicine
The ST3-level clinical duties will include in‑patient duties as part of a team managing patients admitted under general medicine consultants. This will include providing support to junior colleagues. You will have the opportunity to attend out‑patient clinics in one of the departments. Depending on interest, successful candidates may be involved with specialist referrals.
Post 2: Endoscopy Academy Senior Clinical Fellow
Clinical duties will include ward‑based work, gaining experience in both luminal and hepatology units, supervised outpatient clinics, and a regular endoscopy training list (gastroscopy or colonoscopy) per week if appropriate. Participation in the GIM on‑call rota and the opportunity to participate during daylight hours in a specialist gastroenterology SpR rota for inpatient speciality reviews under consultant support. Some sessions may be flexibly worked depending on space limitations in the outpatient and endoscopy departments.
