We're seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Engineer to join a growing, service-focused team working across a diverse range of mechanical systems. If you enjoy problem-solving, working on-site, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, including:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment
  • Carrying out bearing replacements and mechanical seal changes
  • Working on pumping stations, including sewage systems and associated equipment
  • Lifting and clearing pumps, inspecting float switches, and checking control systems
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, long-term solutions
  • Interacting directly with customers and representing the business on-site

This is a field-based role with local travel (range of approx 50 miles), offering real variety and autonomy.

What You'll Need

  • Solid experience working with pumps, motors, inverters, and mechanical systems
  • Understanding of electrical panels and control systems
  • Proven experience in pump and motor overhauls (5+ years preferred)
  • Comfortable working on-site and liaising with customers
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work at height or in confined spaces (training provided)
