Job Description

You will lead the development of production-grade AI systems for a platform serving 1.7 million monthly active users. Reporting to the CEO, you will ship features like automated marking and agentic workflows using TypeScript. This is a high-impact role focused on building the core intelligence behind a rapidly scaling global learning product.

What You Will Do

• Design and ship end-to-end AI features in TypeScript, including study material generation, automated marking, and structured content ingestion.
• Architect and iterate on sophisticated agentic prompt workflows and multi-step model pipelines using GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini.
• Build internal evaluation frameworks and tooling to systematically measure and improve AI output quality, correctness, and system reliability.

The ideal candidate

• Offers 7-8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and a proven track record of shipping user-facing products.
• Demonstrates practical experience deploying LLMs in production, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, or an academic background in ML/AI.
• Thrives in early-stage environments, possessing strong product instincts and the ability to solve complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.
