Installation & Commissioning Engineer – Manufacturing Machinery

Location: Leicester

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 plus overtime, bonus, pension and 25 days holiday.

A growing specialist machinery manufacturer delivering advanced automated systems to a range of industries, now expanding its engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of bespoke machinery at the Leicester facility and on customer sites worldwide.
• Manage electrical, mechanical and PLC systems, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Support customer acceptance testing and provide technical input to improve machinery performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with design, build and controls teams to ensure systems are fully operational before hand‑over to the customer.

Qualifications

• Mechanical bias with a background in manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with on‑site installations and commissioning projects.
