Electrical Engineer – High Voltage
Salary: Above Market Average Salary Package (Happy to discuss before submission)
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – Days
We're proud to be working with a prestigious global business with a rapidly growing, highly automated site in Southampton. They are now seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (High Voltage) to join their expanding engineering team. This role will act as the electrical expert for the site and its facilities, joining the Infrastructure and Facilities team with the primary purpose of ensuring uninterrupted electrical power across this impressive site. The role focuses on HV cabling, terminations, and overall electrical infrastructure reliability.
This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility position reporting directly to the Electrical Infrastructure Manager. Once up to speed in the role, engineers will join the on‑call rotation, which is compensated regardless of call‑out.

Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Qualification
- Proven experience in High Voltage (HV) electrical engineering
- Experience working in an industrial engineering sector
- Worked at a minimum of 11 kV voltage
- Experience working on electrical components and PLCs
- Knowledge and experience of maintaining and/or managing HV networks
- Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or Authorised Person (AP) experience
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of maintaining and/or managing HV networks
- Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or Authorised Person (AP) experience
