Maintenance Engineer

As a maintenance engineer, you will be the go-to specialist when site teams need additional support. You’ll work both remotely and on‑site to resolve complex issues and minimise downtime.

Responsibilities

• PLC fault finding across multiple platforms (training provided)
• Electrical fault diagnosis and problem solving
• Supporting wider machinery and production issues
• Remote troubleshooting and on‑site breakdown response

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday – days only
• 1 in 5 call out
• Home‑based with travel to client sites
• Flexible, trust‑based working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Background as a maintenance engineer or service engineer
• Electrical qualifications
• PLC experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi)
• Strong fault‑finding skills across controls, electrical, and machinery
• A proactive maintenance engineer mindset with the ability to solve complex issues independently
