Job Description:
Maintenance EngineerSalary: £54,000 – £55,000Location: Boston
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Support production by ensuring machinery operates at optimal performance.
- Document maintenance activity in line with compliance and audit requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship and/or recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, City & Guilds, etc.).
- Proven experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in both mechanical and electrical maintenance and fault finding.
- 18th Edition Electrical Certification (essential).
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
- PLC fault–finding experience (advantage).
