A rapidly growing clean‑energy engineering business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead a specialist team delivering industrial electrical design and project support.

Electrical Engineering Manager

Permanent, Full‑time
Salary: £ Competitive
Location: Cranleigh, SURREY

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate resources within the Electrical Engineering team.
• Ensure engineering quality, safety and compliance across all deliverables.
• Define system‑level electrical architectures and produce schematics & documentation.
• Specify electrical components and generate manufacturing packages.
• Support integration, commissioning, and fault‑finding activities.
• Contribute to safety reviews (HAZOP, FMEA, SIL etc.).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and present to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong industrial electrical design experience (control panels, wiring, instrumentation).
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 & EN 60204.
• Functional safety experience (EN 61511).
• PLC systems – ideally Siemens.
• ATEX experience beneficial.
• Hands‑on testing and problem‑solving ability.
• Able to travel internationally when required.
