Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure / Drainage / Roads) – Manchester
Hybrid working (3 days from home). Salary c£45k – c£55k + package (or c45k to 60k depending on experience). Yearly bonus, private health and pension.

The role involves leading the development of civil engineering planning and design solutions across the entire lifecycle, from feasibility and concept planning submissions through to construction details and site inspections.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in developing civil engineering planning and design solutions.
- Prepare plans and drawings at all stages of the development cycle.
- Design earthworks, internal site roads, pavements and drainage.
- Prepare associated specifications.
- Work across varied sectors: commercial, residential, logistics & distribution, schools, healthcare and MOJ.
- For senior level: deliver project management, lead and develop team members.
Requirements & Skills
- Good working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infodrainage and Microdrainage.
- Experience in civil design for multi‑disciplinary projects.
