About the Role
Midlands based manufacturer of machinery has a new opportunity to recruit a Field Service Engineer.
Location is flexible, ideally in the East Midlands and the Midlands area as a whole.
This role will be mobile, UK wide (predominantly Midlands) and will focus on service and maintenance, with no on call.
Responsibilities
Provide service and maintenance of special purpose machinery across the UK.
Act as an ambassador of the business in front of customers and work well independently.
Qualifications/Experience
- Direct background in the service and maintenance of special purpose machinery.
- Mechanically biased experience with heavy engineering equipment; credentials of machinery maintenance are also considered.
- Experience with hydraulics, conveyors, or mining machinery.
- General electrical ability, including wiring motors and control panels.
- Welding experience is an advantage.
