Electrical Shift Engineer – Days Only
£42,000 per annum plus £3,000 call out payment

Overview
Our client is a well established UK commercial building services organisation, with a requirement for an electrically biased shift engineer to work on a high profile commercial M&E maintenance contract. Working as part of a multi‑skilled team covering planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems, the shift pattern is days only, 7am – 5pm. 5 on, 2 off, 6 on, 3 off.
Responsibilities
The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHU’s, Generators, Pumps, and BMS across the site. You will work independently when required and support the team on both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a background in Data Centre / Critical site engineering & property maintenance. However, electricians from a building services background who are interested in the data centre industry are also considered. Good knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Plant such as LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHU’s, Generators, Pumps & BMS is required. Ideally you should hold or be able to obtain relevant HV/LV qualifications or the experience to become an AP.
