With focus on designing, developing, and supporting integrations across a range of customer‑facing and commerce platforms. The role pivots around upstream integrations, enabling seamless experiences across eCommerce, mobile apps, and customer service systems, while supporting key downstream business systems where needed.
We're seeking someone with strong hands‑on integration experience who is comfortable working with real‑time data flows and API‑led architectures, and is eager to continue developing their technical and architectural skills.
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of integration patterns, API‑led architecture, and event‑driven design
- Hands‑on experience working with REST APIs (experience with webhooks and real‑time integrations is a plus), JSON, EDI, and flat files
- Experience integrating with systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms
- Some experience with Node.js would be desirable
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow within an integration‑focused team
- Awareness of integration best practices, security considerations, and data governance
- An interest in building scalable, resilient, and customer‑centric integrations
- A quality‑focused mindset with attention to error handling and monitoring
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations and APIs using Boomi
- Build and maintain integrations across eCommerce platforms (Shopify), mobile apps (iOS), and customer service tools
- Enable real‑time and event‑driven data flows to support customer journeys and front‑end experiences
- Integrate upstream platforms with core systems such as OMS, Inventory, ERP, and CRM where required
- Support data flow and synchronisation between customer‑facing platforms and back‑office systems (e.g. NetSuite)
- Work with both real‑time and batch integrations in a retail environment
- Assist with troubleshooting, monitoring, and improving integration reliability and performance
- Collaborate with senior engineers and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to integration documentation and best practice standards
- Follow established integration best practices, standards, and design patterns
- Contribute to improving integration quality, performance, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and peer feedback
- Ensure integrations are well‑documented and supportable
What You’ll Learn
