The Role

A proactive, automation-focused Maintenance Engineer position within a fast‑paced FMCG environment. The role centres on ensuring reliable operation of automated equipment through planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on automated systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Support root cause analysis and reliability improvementsAssist with continuous improvement and minor project work
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards

  • Multi-skilled – electrical or mechanical bias
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) engineering qualification minimum
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated environments
  • Strong fault‑finding and PPM experience
  • Proactive, reliable, and team‑focused approach
