We are currently recruiting for an experienced Land Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer to join a growing team supporting a variety of live construction and engineering projects across the Wigan and Northwest region. The role is on a temp to perm basis. Based from the office in Wigan, WN3, you will work across multiple sites delivering accurate and reliable survey data, supporting contractors and consultants on active projects.

This role is ideal for someone confident working independently, managing their own workload, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out topographical surveys and measured building surveys
• Undertake setting out for construction and engineering works
• Process and manage your own survey data
• Produce clear drawings using AutoCAD
• Liaise with site teams to meet project requirements
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience in surveying / setting out
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience with Leica equipment (preferred)
• Ability to work independently on siteStrong understanding of surveying principles
• Good communication and organisational skills
• CSCS card (preferred)
