Job Description

• Role: Technical Solutions Consultant
• Location: London, UK
• Employment Type: Contract (Hybrid – Inside IR35)

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to read, understand, and debug complex, potentially minified code from external partner websites
• Experience with Chrome Developer Tools, API integrations, and investigating error codes
• Knowledge of RSS feeds, crawling (Googlebot), and authentication protocols (OAuth)
• Coding background; web developers often perform well in this position

Experience & Soft Skills

• Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar technical support or consulting role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for interacting with external partners (publishers) and internal teams (Product Management, Engineering)
• Proactive bias for action – preference for candidates who are “scrappy,” move fast, and focus on getting things done rather than over-planning

Language Requirement

Business-level fluency in Japanese is strongly preferred to support the Japanese market, though not strictly mandatory if an otherwise exceptional technical candidate is found.
