About the Role
You will be delivering engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop an understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global perspectives. The school encourages dynamic teaching approaches and supports staff in bringing the subject to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (up to GCSE level)
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Support students in developing analytical, research, and fieldwork skills
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour skills
- A passion for teaching and student success
