About the role

We are recruiting a Senior Wealth Planner to join our dynamic Wealth team in Bishop’s Stortford or Cambridge. You’ll be joining a respected, progressive firm, delivering tailored, high‑quality financial planning to a broad range of clients and supporting them in achieving their long‑term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, bespoke financial planning advice across areas such as retirement planning, investments, estate planning, protection and tax‑efficient strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
  • Conduct detailed fact‑finding, cashflow modelling and suitability assessments to develop robust financial plans.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Paraplanners, Administrators, and wider professional advisers across the firm.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory requirements, market developments and product knowledge to ensure compliant and informed advice.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the continued growth of the Wealth team.
  • Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate, sharing expertise and promoting best practice.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 6 / Chartered status, with strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning.
  • Proven experience in a client‑facing Wealth Planning or Financial Advisory role, ideally within a professional services or private client environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work independently when required.
