Manor House Country Hotel is a well-established, family-run hotel with over 30 years of experience, set on the beautiful shores of Lough Erne. We are known for delivering exceptional weddings and are now seeking an experienced Events & Banqueting Manager to lead and coordinate our events.

Job Summary

A hands-on role focused on planning, organising, and delivering weddings and banqueting events to the highest standard. You will manage each event from initial enquiry through to the big day, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for every couple.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage wedding enquiries, showarounds, and bookings
  • Meet with couples to plan all aspects of their wedding day
  • Coordinate wedding timelines, room setups, and event details
  • Liaise with kitchen, bar, and banqueting teams to ensure smooth service
  • Lead and oversee weddings and events on the day
  • Act as the main point of contact for couples and guests
  • Ensure high standards of service throughout all events
  • Supervise and support banqueting staff
  • Provide occasional Duty Manager support when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in weddings, events, or banqueting management
  • Background in hospitality or hotel operations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
