12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Work location: Perceval House. Candidates are expected on site one day per week.

Quantity Surveyor role

  • Provide pre and post contract Quantity Surveying duties and services across a number of schools projects, whilst liaising with project managers, contract administrators, designers, contractors and end-users as necessary.
  • Provide support with monthly capital monitoring reports and reviews across all current projects and liaising with finance colleagues as necessary.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Council’s Economy and Sustainability directorate, championing best practice.

Our ideal Quantity Surveyor will have the below skills and experience

  • Degree qualified or equivalent (essential).
  • Chartered Member of the RICS or currently progressing towards achieving Chartered status (essential).
  • Be dynamic, an effective communicator and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be adaptable and have a flexible working style with ability to pick up and independently lead a wide range of different tasks.
  • Have experience of quantity surveying practices and skills and putting these into practice.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to challenging timetables and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.

You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.

This role is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process.
