Overview
Sales Manager – Hybrid role (1 office day, 4 days hybrid). South Manchester based Air & Ocean freight forwarder with approximately 70% air freight and 30% ocean freight. The role is remote/field based with only one day a week in the office. Key responsibilities include attending trade shows, meeting clients, finding new business and driving the freight forwarding business forward.
Responsibilities
- Attend trade shows and events to promote the business.
- Meet clients, build and grow relationships, and secure new business.
- Drive growth of both import and export operations.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship building and business development skills.
- Knowledge of the import/export market, especially air freight; some ocean freight knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent communicator and skilled at winning business.
Compensation
- £40,000–£46,000 base salary plus £5,000 car allowance.
Location & Schedule
South Manchester based. Hybrid schedule: one office day per week and four days remote or client‑based.
