We are recruiting for a Logistics & Compliance Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Kirkbymoorside on a temporary basis for an initial 2-month contract, with the potential to extend.

This is a busy and varied administration role supporting logistics, compliance and operational activity across the business.

The team are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident managing multiple admin tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the location, you will need your own transport.

Some of the Logistics & Compliance Administrator duties

  • Maintaining accurate import and export logs
  • Reviewing and processing freight and payment invoices for approval
  • Managing annual vendor certificate renewals
  • Supporting operational administration across the department
  • Providing holiday cover where required
  • Assisting with general compliance and documentation tasks
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company policies, procedures and health and safety standards
  • Supporting good housekeeping and administration practices across the team

About you

  • Strong administration skills with the ability to work in a busy environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Previous import/export or logistics administration experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided

This will be working full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am – 4:00pm earning a salary of £13.50 per hour.
