Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across the UK, US and Europe for the company services.
  • Cold call and prospect potential clients, conduct client visits worldwide once opportunities have been developed.
  • Convey complex topics to clients across a range of meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and teach clients how to forecast and price pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

  • 2:1 or higher degree in a life‑science, economics or similar discipline.
  • Good listener who can ask the right questions and understand customer requirements in detail.
  • Continually update knowledge and seek improvement in sales and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Optimistic, resilient, outgoing personality.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise time effectively.
  • Effective communication of complex ideas and topics.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling; highly numerate and computer literate, especially in Excel.
  • Must be able to travel within the UK and overseas; have a valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary of £28,000 rising to £31,000 after a 6‑month probation period, with a generous bonus scheme based on individual performance. Company car allowance offered. Twenty‑seven days’ holiday a year in addition to Bank Holidays and a matching company pension contribution of 5% of salary.
