Contract Quality Inspector – Mechanical

Overview

Contract Details

Location: Yorkshire (on site 5 days a week). Engagement: 3‑6 month contract.

This role is outside IR35 and may be carried out via a PSC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality control and conduct quality audits and assessments on sub‑contractors and installations.
• Inspect welds and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Communicate with onsite construction teams to provide quality status reports.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a process contractor or on a large installation onsite.
• Experience in the chemicals, oil and gas, or food industries.
• In‑date CSWIP qualification.
• SMSTS or CSCS card required.
