Responsibilities

  • Hold overall responsibility for end‑to‑end delivery of the Pensions Reform agenda, ensuring outcomes are delivered at pace and with coherence across workstreams.
  • Work in close partnership with Executive Sponsors and Accountable Executives to translate strategic direction into clear delivery focus, priorities and plans.
  • Establish and maintain an outcome‑led delivery framework, ensuring clarity of outcomes, outputs and measures, and alignment to TPR’s Corporate Strategy and Business Plan.
  • Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple teams and disciplines, actively managing dependencies, sequencing, risks and trade‑offs.
  • Build and lead an effective delivery team, fostering strong collaboration, shared ownership and accountability.
  • Provide clear, confident reporting and insight to senior forums, including ExCo and Board, highlighting progress, risks, options and recommended actions.
  • Ensure delivery activity remains focused on doing the right things, in the right order, avoiding duplication, re‑work and unnecessary complexity.
  • Work closely with enabling functions (including Strategy, Risk, Finance, DDAT and Communications) to support successful delivery and adoption.
  • Manage programme finances, resources and external support to ensure delivery within agreed tolerances of time, cost and quality.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience of operating as a Programme Manager delivering complex, high‑profile change in a regulated or public‑sector environment.
  • Proven ability to lead large, multi‑strand delivery initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders and interdependencies.
  • Strong experience of risk, issue and dependency management, including the ability to surface and resolve delivery challenges early.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively with Executive‑level stakeholders, providing challenge, insight and clear recommendations.
  • Experience of establishing and operating outcome‑led delivery approaches, including defining outcomes, measures and delivery plans.
  • Strong understanding of, and experience applying, Agile and hybrid delivery approaches.
