Overview

Care Service Manager to lead the nursing floor and ensure residents receive high standards of clinical and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the nursing and care team to provide safe, person-centred care.
  • Carry out clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Support the General Manager with external audit processes to ensure the service remains compliant.
  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations on the nursing floor.
  • Mentor and develop staff, promoting a positive and professional working environment.
  • Work closely with residents and their families to maintain open and supportive communication.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in a care home, hospital, or similar clinical environment.
  • Confident in leading teams and managing clinical responsibilities.
  • Compassionate, proactive, and committed to resident wellbeing.
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding, person-centred care, and CQC standards.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work on your own initiative as well as being a team player.
  • A caring nature and an intuitive sensitivity to the needs of others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
