Our client, a fast-growing contract Logistics business, is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a team at their Regional Distribution Site in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Reporting to the senior leadership team, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading site-wide operations across warehousing & fulfilment as well as cross functional support of specialist teams
- Driving operational performance, safety, service quality and profitability.
- Developing and motivating a high-performing team and providing direction through a period of transition
- Delivering process improvements and embedding operational best practice.
- Aligning site activity with the overall business strategy.
To be successful in your application for Warehouse Operations Manager, we require:
- Strong leadership experience in Logistics & Distribution
- 5+ Years experience as a people manager with a track record of developing talent and decision making capability
- A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver cost efficiencies without compromising service.
- Providing weekly invoicing details and explaining operational cost drivers.
- Proven success in scaling operations and leading change.
- Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interact with senior managers and engage customers with regular update and reports.
As Warehouse Manager you will receive:
- Competitive base salary of £50,000 – £52,000
