Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic people person to organise and lead meaningful and entertaining activities for adults living with complex mental health and neurodisabilities at Adswood Lodge in Stockport. The role involves empowering residents to live fulfilled and happy lives.
Responsibilities
- Organise individual activity plans based on people’s unique goals and interests.
- Foster community spirit through group activities.
- Support people to maintain current and take up new hobbies, interests and educational opportunities.
- Assist people to become more involved in their local community.
- Celebrate national awareness days, holidays and individual/collective achievements.
- Promote choice, dignity and independence.

Relevant experience and qualifications are welcomed but not essential. We provide induction, buddy and ongoing training programmes to support newcomers to the care sector.
