THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Independent Sales Agent, you will be the face of Pro Standard in your designated territory. You will leverage your established network of independent retailers, specialty stores, and key accounts to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. This is a high-impact, autonomous role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and turning market potential into measurable results.
AVAILABLE TERRITORIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory, targeting independent retailers, specialty boutiques, and key fan and fashion accounts.
- Leverage your existing network of retail contacts to accelerate Pro Standard’s market presence in top-tier stores.
- Conduct regular in-person store visits to strengthen relationships, present quarterly product collections, and provide hands-on support and merchandising guidance.
- Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with current clients, driving consistent year-over-year growth.
- Curate and manage territory-specific assortments on the Brand Boom wholesale platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Support, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and seamless order fulfillment.
- Understand each client’s unique needs and deliver tailored product recommendations and solutions.
- Communicate real-time market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to internal merchandising, marketing, and sales leadership teams.
- Represent Pro Standard at trade shows, industry events, and showroom appointments to expand brand visibility.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record in sales, account management, and new business development within the sports apparel, streetwear, or fashion industry.
- Established network of retail contacts (independent retailers, specialty stores, department stores) in your respective territory.
- Deep understanding of the European sports and lifestyle retail landscape.
- Experience working as an independent sales agent, manufacturer’s rep, or in a similar commission-based sales role is highly valued.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your territory for client meetings, store visits, and trade shows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Brand Boom or similar B2B wholesale platforms is a plus.
- Genuine passion for sports, sports culture, and the intersection of athletics and fashion.
- Fluency in English required; additional language proficiency relevant to your territory (French, German, Dutch) is strongly preferred.
