The Role
We are seeking a Stress Engineer to support the development of complex composite aerostructures. Reporting to the Mechanical Design Team Leader, you will deliver analysis, reporting, and technical support across key projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stress analysis using FEA tools (e.g. Hyperworks, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ANSYS)
- Apply aerospace methodologies for metallic and composite structures
- Produce technical reports and maintain project documentation
- Support customer design reviews and technical discussions
- Manage external analysis support where required
- Contribute to cost optimisation and product development
About You
- Experience in stress analysis of composite structures
- Strong understanding of aerospace stress methodologies
- Confident communicator with strong analytical skills
Desirable:
- Dynamic/non-linear and F&DT analysis experience
- CATIA V5 proficiency
- Knowledge of certification requirements
- Understanding of composite manufacturing processes
