The Opportunity

A market leading marine technology business is entering a critical phase of operational and commercial evolution. With increasing regulatory pressure across global shipping and rising demand for emissions monitoring solutions, the business is investing in leadership capable of scaling performance, modernising operations and strengthening its position in a technically demanding market.

This appointment carries full responsibility for a specialist business unit operating at the intersection of decarbonisation, compliance and maritime engineering. Reporting directly to the COO for Digital & Decarbonisation, the successful individual will lead a multi functional operation spanning Product, R&D, Operations, Procurement and After Sales.

This is not a maintenance leadership role. It is a mandate to drive performance, sharpen execution and position the business for long term growth in a rapidly evolving sector.

The Impact You Will Have

• Take full ownership of operational and financial performance across a complex marine technology business with complete P&L accountability
• Lead the next phase of product and service evolution in line with tightening environmental legislation and customer demand
• Improve delivery performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency across the entire value chain
• Build and develop a high performing leadership team capable of supporting future growth and transformation
• Strengthen supplier, customer and stakeholder relationships within a highly regulated global market

What Success Looks Like

• Proven success leading engineering or technology driven businesses within the maritime sector
• Strong commercial judgement with experience managing full business operations and financial performance
• Credibility in technically complex environments involving compliance, manufacturing or emissions related systems
• A leader who drives accountability, pace and continuous improvement without compromising standards
• Comfortable operating at executive level while remaining close to customers, products and operational delivery
