Technical Development Manager – HV Electrical Services

Smart4 Energy is supporting a growing engineering and technical services business seeking a Technical Development Manager to support the continued expansion of its onshore diversified services division.

This role will play a key part in developing new opportunities across HV electrical services, industrial engineering and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

The position offers an excellent blend of technical, commercial and client-facing responsibility and would suit somebody with strong HV or electrical engineering knowledge who enjoys developing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the growth of the business by identifying opportunities, engaging clients and helping shape technical service solutions across a range of industrial and energy-sector environments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting business growth across HV electrical and engineering services
• Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Identifying project opportunities across industrial and infrastructure sectors
• Providing technical input and support during client engagement
• Supporting commercial proposals and solution development
• Working closely with operational and engineering teams to support delivery

About You

Candidates should ideally have:

• Experience within HV electrical, industrial or engineering services environments
• Strong technical understanding of electrical infrastructure or HV services
• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
• Ability to identify and develop business opportunities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive and growth-focused mindset
