We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician Level 2 to join a busy aerospace maintenance environment specialising in aircraft landing gear components.
This role sits within a highly regulated EASA Part 145 organisation, supporting the inspection of safety-critical components to ensure full compliance with aviation airworthiness standards.
Salary & Shift Pattern
Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
The role will initially be day shift (06:30–14:30) with some flexibility required.
There may be a future requirement to move onto a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, however this is yet to be confirmed and updates will be provided when available.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out NDT inspections (MPI, FPI, UT, ECT and other approved methods)
- Inspect landing gear components for defects in line with aviation standards
- Complete and maintain inspection reports and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with EASA, CAA and FAA requirements
- Support Level 3 engineers and production teams with technical issues
- Maintain certification and PER records
- Follow strict health, safety and quality procedures
Requirements
- NDT Level 2 certification (EN4179 or equivalent)
- Aerospace or aviation maintenance experience (preferred)
- Understanding of EASA Part 145
- Good IT and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
