The Role
As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will take a leading role in the delivery of projects from inception through to completion, managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
You will be involved in:
- Cost planning and estimating
- Procurement and tender management
- Contract administration
- Value engineering and commercial advice
- Risk management and reporting
- Managing project finances and forecasting
- Supporting business development activities
- Mentoring and developing junior consultants
About You
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
- Strong pre and post contract cost management experience
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Experience delivering projects across one or more core sectors such as commercial, residential, fit out, infrastructure or mixed-use
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
